From September 3, 2018, new regulations regarding tachographs are in force, i.e. a new law on tachographs and 2 executive regulations: on training for workshop technicians and on additional tachograph tests and leading to its proper functioning.
The legal act adjusts the national regulations to the Regulation (EU) No 165/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 4.02.2014 on tachographs used in road transport and repealing Council Regulation (EEC) No. 3821/85 on recording equipment used in road transport and amending Regulation (EC) No. 561/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the harmonization of certain social legislation relating to road transport.
The Act also defines the tasks of public administration bodies and other entities in the cases of tachographs used in road transport resulting from EU Regulation No. 165/2014 and executive acts issued to it.
